FUTSAL AND STREET SOCCER PROGRAMFOR PLAYERS AGES 2-14Want to be a skillful player? This program offers 6 weeks of individual foot skills, from 1v1 up to 5v5Games designed to touch the ball up to 30,000 times, equivalent to a typical fall and spring program!   This program's aim is to increase the player's personal skills to the next level. It uses Futsal (futbol de salao - soccer in a room) as a platform for high speed, high volume ball touches and maneuvering in tight spaces. A typical Futsal game allows the player to touch the ball up to 600% more than traditional soccer, thereby increasing the player's decision making skills and comfort with the ball. A Futsal ball is much smaller and heavier, which allows the player to easily command the ball and in return, increase confidence that seamlessly transforms to a soccer game. The aim of this program is to provide the basic tools necessary to compete in youth wrestling through physical drills and discipline.The coaching staff provides a nurturing environment and mentoring through positive leadership, both on and off the mat.While there is definitely a team aspect to the sport, there are also individual barriers and obstacles that our wrestlers are encouraged to face head-on and overcome, including any obstacle life may bring, to reach heights that were never imaginable!REGISTRATION: Registration runs online October 1 - December 1st, and by mail-in or in person at the Wilbraham Parks & Recreation Department office October 1 -  December 3rd .COST: $100 ($10 late fee after 12/1, $20 after 12/13) THE SEASON BEGINS TUESDAY, November 30 AND WILL RUN EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. AT MEMORIAL SCHOOL, 310 Main St, Wilbraham

The ART-ventures programs will meet on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm at Memorial School (310 Main Street, Wilbraham)ART-Ventures: Spread Your Wings and Roar!January 27 - March 24 (no class 2/24) This all new art-rageous program is truly like a trip to the zoo. Design stuffed teddy bears, create owl paintings on canvas, and sculpt clay peacocks with zany feathers. Color real rubber duckies, paint ceramic bunny banks, and make wooden animal puzzles in the style of Oaxacan Alebrijes. Even travel back in time to paint dancing dinosaurs with watercolors. We’ll also pop into the zoo food court to create mixed media sandwich collages and pasta relief clay tiles, and visit the photo booth to make cardboard mustache masks and draw Minion self-portraits. On the way out, we’ll stop at the gift shop to design sticker resist T-shirts, decoupage large paper mache letters, and build wacky mix-and-match character blocks. Art-explorers experience painting, drawing, sculpting, fabric design, decoupage, collage, and more. A trip to the zoo that you’ll never forget! FUTSAL AND STREET SOCCER PROGRAMFOR PLAYERS AGES 2-14Want to be a skillful player? This program offers 6 weeks of individual foot skills, from 1v1 up to 5v5Games designed to touch the ball up to 30,000 times, equivalent to a typical fall and spring program!   This program's aim is to increase the player's personal skills to the next level. It uses Futsal (futbol de salao - soccer in a room) as a platform for high speed, high volume ball touches and maneuvering in tight spaces. A typical Futsal game allows the player to touch the ball up to 600% more than traditional soccer, thereby increasing the player's decision making skills and comfort with the ball. A Futsal ball is much smaller and heavier, which allows the player to easily command the ball and in return, increase confidence that seamlessly transforms to a soccer game. The ART-ventures programs will meet on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm at Memorial School (310 Main Street, Wilbraham)ART-Ventures: Spread Your Wings and Roar!January 27 - March 24 (no class 2/24) This all new art-rageous program is truly like a trip to the zoo. Design stuffed teddy bears, create owl paintings on canvas, and sculpt clay peacocks with zany feathers. Color real rubber duckies, paint ceramic bunny banks, and make wooden animal puzzles in the style of Oaxacan Alebrijes. Even travel back in time to paint dancing dinosaurs with watercolors. We’ll also pop into the zoo food court to create mixed media sandwich collages and pasta relief clay tiles, and visit the photo booth to make cardboard mustache masks and draw Minion self-portraits. FUTSAL AND STREET SOCCER PROGRAMFOR PLAYERS AGES 2-14Want to be a skillful player? This program offers 6 weeks of individual foot skills, from 1v1 up to 5v5Games designed to touch the ball up to 30,000 times, equivalent to a typical fall and spring program!   This program's aim is to increase the player's personal skills to the next level. It uses Futsal (futbol de salao - soccer in a room) as a platform for high speed, high volume ball touches and maneuvering in tight spaces. A typical Futsal game allows the player to touch the ball up to 600% more than traditional soccer, thereby increasing the player's decision making skills and comfort with the ball. A Futsal ball is much smaller and heavier, which allows the player to easily command the ball and in return, increase confidence that seamlessly transforms to a soccer game.
